Russell (Russ) Maynard, Principal (57) – Russ is a Founding Partner and Director of IAS and is a leading component of the IAS team approach to construction solutions.  A native of Greensboro, North Carolina, Russ attended Guildford College from 1969 through 1973 majoring in Political Science and Economics, and has travelled extensively throughout the world.  Russ has over 25 years of successful land development and construction experience including hotels, single and multi-family communities, affordable housing, rental and commercial properties, including warehouse and historic commercial rehabs.

Owner and founder of Atlantic Restoration & Construction, LLC, and numerous other property holding companies, Russ has been credited for revitalizing numerous neighborhoods and communities in eastern North Carolina through his redevelopment efforts. His unique Four Star Hilton Garden Resort and Conference Center is the cornerstone of the Master Plan revitalization for the CBD in Carolina Beach, NC. His development abilities, creativity and vision in creating profitable developments are only exceeded by his profile of integrity in his business and personal relationships.

During his tenure in southeastern North Carolina, Russ has earned a solid reputation for his community revitalization efforts, affordable housing initiatives and successful financial stewardship. This public respect could not be more clearly displayed than by NC Governor Beverly Perdue, US House Representative Michael McIntyre, NC Legislative Representative Julia Boseman and the Mayors of Carolina and Kure Beach speaking on his behalf at the 2008 ground breaking of his new Hilton Hotel Project.
